The owners, management team and staff at Seniorcorp take pride in our company culture and our mission to help seniors remain in the comfort of their homes. In order to accomplish that mission, we must attract and retain great caregivers.
Since our founding in 2004, Seniorcorp has made it our top priority to provide our caregivers with superior training, recognition programs, compensation, and benefits.
In the competitive home care industry, we recognize that great caregivers can choose from a wide variety of agencies for which to work. We regularly review our caregiver programs to ensure we can continue to attract the best caregivers for our clients.
“Seniorcorp is such a great place to work! Everyone there is friendly and helpful. There is lots of work to fit any lifestyle. If you love being a caregiver, work here. They are hiring right now, so come on over and apply! You’ll meet lots of nice clients of all levels of care. Elderly people need help in their homes. If you are a nurturing person, this is the job for you!” – Karen H
Award Winning Employer
For three consecutive years, 2018, 2019, and 2020, Seniorcorp has earned the Best of Home Care Employer of Choice award. Home Care Pulse, the leading provider of quality assurance surveys in the home care field, surveys the customers and clients of over 1,700 home care agencies nationally. 10% of our clients and caregivers are surveyed every month with a personal phone call. The results are benchmarked and ranked against our peer agencies. Seniorcorp has scored in the top 10% of agencies in the Employer category in each of the past three years.
Seniorcorp Caregivers
Seniorcorp employs nearly 400 active caregivers who work a variety of hours and schedules. With nearly 300 active clients, we have a wide array of shifts available, so our caregivers can build their schedules to suit their needs.
Hourly caregivers typically work 8-hour shifts (7a-3p, 3p-11p, or 11p-7a), however, many of our clients have shorter shifts ranging from 2 to 6 hours a day. Caregivers may work with multiple clients during the week and on the weekend. Many of our clients require 24/7 care, including care on the weekends, so we require our caregivers to work every other weekend. Each caregiver is assigned a weekend track (A or B) and a holiday track (Red or Blue). Holiday hours worked are paid at time-and-a-half.
Seniorcorp’s Live-In program is our most popular service for seniors who want to remain at home vs. moving into a facility. Live-In caregivers work either a 4-day or a 3-day shift, staying in a dedicated, spare bedroom in the client’s home. The caregivers swap out on Sunday morning and either Wednesday or Thursday. Meals are also included for caregivers in the Live-In program during their 4 or 3-day shift.
Overtime – Unlike most home care agencies, which cap caregivers at either 30 hours or 40 hours per week, Seniorcorp allows our caregivers to work overtime on a weekly basis up to a total of 72 hours (40 regular hours + 32 overtime hours). All hours over 40 are paid at time-and-a-half.
