Hampton Roads is home to thousands of senior veterans. And Seniorcorp is proud to have provided care to a great many of those veterans over the years. For certain eligible veterans, there is a benefit called Veteran’s Aid and Attendance which can provide a modest amount of in-home care funded by the Veterans Administration.
The Veteran’s Aid and Attendance benefit has a number of eligibility restrictions including having served on active duty during war-time. There are also income and asset tests to qualify. Our intake team understands the right questions to ask so we can refer you to the appropriate elder law experts or other partners we work with who guide veterans through the application process.
